Overview
Jaw̋ Ǔ̄zer Ni̋ēkēä was founded durring the late 16th century in fall of the year 1472, by Hurtrerh Me Zhesh. The establishment of Jaw̋ Ǔ̄zer Ni̋ēkēä was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Hurtrerh Me Zhesh struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Jaw̋ Ǔ̄zer Ni̋ēkēä as a prison colony.
Jaw̋ Ǔ̄zer Ni̋ēkēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Jaw̋ Ǔ̄zer Ni̋ēkēä is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Jaw̋ Ǔ̄zer Ni̋ēkēä is buildings are arranged arround a network of restrictive flagstone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Jaw̋ Ǔ̄zer Ni̋ēkēä weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. Unfortuantly, these budget focused millitary grade defenses are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.
The city shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.
